well the wait is really long

I totally forgot about blogger and my account.

I'm have a mild obsession about reading other people's blog but totally forget about my own.

There is a wonderful sense of community among those waiting to adopt from China and those that have adopted from China.

The wait keeps growing and I keep getting older! The kids are asking about their sister. Sometimes I wish we didn't tell them. It just makes it worse.

Well maybe this can become a new habit!

Have a blessed day!

1st post

I have decided to take the plunge into the blogging world. I was really worried about posting private items about us but I hope our experience can help others. For those who know don't know me, my name is Christine. My husband's name is David. We live in a small town in Northern Georgia. I'm a stay at home mom who home schools our two children, Alexander age 10 and Sarah age 7. We home school because we believe that we need to instill our faith into our children's education. We do not feel that public school support our Christian values. We have been thinking about adoption for a while. Several years ago, we went to Steven Curtis Chapman concert. He adopted two girls from China. After the concert and talking with our minister, we have decided to adopt a baby from China. We started the process back in April 2006. We are logged into China's system with a date of 9/15/06. Currently China has referred up to 11/05. We are praying that the referral process speeds up.
